Last week we had Kyle's fairwell. We were very fortunate to have so many people come out to hear Kyle speak in church. Our family has been incredibly grateful for all the supoort we have received over the past few years. Kyle did an amazing job! We are so proud of him! One thing about Kyle is that he acts so much like my Dad. From the way he talks, laughs, smiles, pulls funny faces, and his love of people and service... I know that Kyle definately got the best of both of my parents! He's got the tender heart of my Mom and the drive and personality of my Dad. It's been really great to see the changes Kyle's made in preparing for his mission and I know that my parents can be proud of the young man they've raised.

Today we took Kyle to the airport... what a hard day it has been! I am emotionally drained! It's never easy saying goodbye to a loved one no matter how great the reason for leaving is. I will say this... it was easier than goin to that dreaded MTC in Provo! That place is freaking torture!!But most I admire about my brother is that he really prepared himself for this! The great thing is about him is that he decided for himself that he wanted to serve a mission. It's a pretty humbling story of how he received his answers that he would/wanted to go on a mission. And ever since that day, he has stuck strong to his inspiration he received and hasn't looked back or questioned his ability to serve. I know he will be a great instrument in the Lord's hands. How grateful I am that he is, as we speak, goin to Brazil to teach them the beauty this Gospel brings to one's life!
