This is the new do! Do you like it? I hate change but I have been feeling the need for some in my life and the best way to start is by changing my hairstyle! SO... this is the new me! :) How do I look?!

Also today I got to have lunch with some of my most fave people in the world...Amber, Krista, and Amy! I work with these gals and when we get together its always a good time full of laughs and gossip...jk on the gossip part. :) he he. We don't see Amber much since she left the switchboard last spring so its always good to catch up with her. You should really think about coming back! Thanks girls! Lets do lunch more often!

This is one of my very bestest friends in the entire world...Sister Alexi Britt Coy! One late late night we were all getting ready for bed after a funfilled night and Lexi comes running out of her room with THIS on her head. ha ha I seriously about pee'd my pants from laughing so freakin hard! (mind you that it was after 2 AM and everything seems to be funnier!) So there ya go! This past weekend was filled with good times! Friday night a bunch of us went to a Halloween party in South Ogden that was super fun! There was tons of people and some really sweet costumes! I love Halloween!!! Its such a fun holiday! Give me any reason to dress up and I'll take it!!! SO....I was rockin the 80's for the evening! :)

Saturday night we had pumpkin carving/sugar cookie decorating at Colby's. Everything turned out to be a hit and everyone had a good time! I was quite impressed with everyone's carving skills! Some of the pumpkins were so creative! I wish i would've gotten a pic of everyone's pumpkins but forgot.

Hump Day.

Today is the official one year mark for Elder Smith! WOOT WOOT! I honestly can't believe a year has come and gone. I remember going to that dreaded MTC and just bawling my eyes out the entire ride home after saying our goodbyes. Not the best memories but I know that over this past year many great things have happened to him and our family's lives.

I know that more than anything you have been a blessing to us all. We are all so proud of you and i know that Dad is very proud of you. Over this past year I have seen you grow into a spiritual giant just like Dad. You remind me so much of him and I know that through this entire experience he has been your constant companion. What a blessing that has been for you to experience this with him. Derek you have inspired us all to try a little harder to live a littler better. To me personally you have helped me through some very difficults times this past year.. thank you for always believing in me and being the greatest brother. Your testimony and courage have helped me see the goodness in life and not take it for granted. I know this next year will be just as amazing and rewarding as the last. Enjoy every bit of it! I sure love ya bud!

Finally. an update!

First off... I suck, i know! I have been a terrible at blogging... its not from lack of things to blog about but strictly lack of TIME to blog. Between school, work, more school, and having fun with friends leaves me very little time. No worries... Life is good! :)


So here is something fun I did this past Tuesday!!

I headed up to Logan with my friends Colby and Nate to go to the Yellowcard/Jason Reeves/ and Allred concert! Colby and Nate play in Allred's band and so we got the V.I.P treatment! We worked the merchandise table for a bit and than enjoyed the concert from the side of the stage. So fun! I am a huge Jason Reeves fan so I was so stoked to see him! And he did fantastic! He writes alot of stuff for Colbie Caillat's and is good friends with her family. Here's a video of him playing one of my faves... "You in a Song".

After the concert since we had our V.I.P passes we went straight back to the band's dressing rooms to get some pictures. The highlight of my night... Jason Reeves invited us into his dressing room! WOOT WOOT! He was so nice and down to earth. I am in love! ha ha

The end is near... but far.

This summer has flown by! and yes... I'm sad to say school started for me a week ago! I'm on my way to getting my degree is something I finally find worth studying about! ha! I'll admit, I'm scared out of my mind!!! I feel like they've given me enough homework to do over an entire year! ha! BUT I'm trying to take it a day at a time and not get overwhelmed... I feel like the little engine that could... I think I can.. I think I can! I can do this! Please pray for me k! :)
With the beginning of my semester comes an end to a great summer! Here are the highlights from the last month.

** Reunion with a lady that my Dad baptized on his mission in Hong Kong 30 years ago.
